Sunee Dhaliwal
The Post calls him “A Rising Comic Star!” and we agree. Sunee Dhaliwal may just be the fastest rising star on the Canadian comedy scene. Think of the funny guy in high school that both the jocks and the nerds liked.
His professionalism and reputation for being both a club and crowd favourite has already landed him opening spots for top Headliners like Charlie Murphy, Sugar Sammy and Jo Koy along with showcases for Just for Laughs and MTV.
Sunee has recorded for XM Radio and has done his very own ‘Comedy Now!’ special on CTV. Sunee
Dhaliwal is definitely one of those Comedians that you will be saying a few years from now, “I saw him when…”
The sky is the limit for this young man.

“His laid-back delivery and appearance are juxtaposed against a refined, observational comedic approach that is clearly the work of a true performance artist.” – Canadian News Service
“Headliner Graham Clark told us he’d start with the “C material” to allow for everyone to get back from the toilet. Of course, his C material is as good as many comics’ A stuff. He’s also developing some real depth to his jokes. Instead of one-and-done, he really gets into a subject now. His bit about rich people and their tart budgets and propensity for saving dead trees was meaty, reminiscent in its inflection and structure of Brent Butt at his finest.” – The Georgia Straight

The hit game Scarface The World is Yours where he created, wrote and voiced the character Dick Hackney, obnoxious 80′s stand-up comedian. It was a dream gig.. Seriously. You can totally blow his brains out and everything.
in 2001 he and a rag-tag bunch of comedians created the laugh gallery in Vancouver as a means to get stage time and wrangle free burritos out of a kind Salvadoran lady on commercial drive in Vancouver. it quickly became the hub of the west coast alt-comedy scene. since its inception it has featured Zach Galifianakis, Brent Butt, Flight of the Conchords, Sean Majumder and many, many amazing Vancouver comedians who don;t make nearly as much money as those famous guys i just mentioned. It is now the longest-running comedy show in Vancouver.
He is co-creator and performer in Vancouver’s seminal political news parody group Blackout Broadcast and satirical fake-news blog Dylan Rhymer’s state of the week. www.stateoftheweek.ca
Dylan Rhymer, along with comedian Baljeet Rai are the creators of online series nature: red in tooth and claw. Fans across the globe tune in to watch the hopelessly inept, alcoholic, ignorant, racist, homophobic nature show presenter Weston Biggerstaff.
